I was born in 1947, the second child and first (and last) daughter of Melbourne C. Raab and Joyce (Younts) Raab.

I grew up in an area of Michigan that my father's ancestor's settled, attended a one room school house (one of the last of its kind) for the first eight years of my schooling, sharing a grade with my cousin. I took the long bus ride to Zeeland High School and, after we moved when I was sixteen, attended Big Rapids High School.

Shortly after my high school graduation my family moved to Oregon. I stayed in Michigan, got an apartment, and lived on my own for a time. When I moved to Oregon I discover that my parents had some strange new ideas. I read the literature they had sent for and it made sense to me.

I was baptized into God's Church in 1969, met my future husband and, after a whirlwind courtship, was married in the summer of 1970.

We have had six children, one of which is awaiting the resurrection. Our oldest is twenty five and the youngest thirteen.

Most of my time is taken up trying to keep one step ahead of the family.

I've run my own day care center, taught Church school before there were any organized lessons, helped out in the mother's room, served as a youth counselor, and, for a time, our family published a local teen newsletter. Most recently my brothers and I have started an on-line company which sells books on disks. I also design and sell dog and cat bedding. My most rewarding and satisfying work, however, is in the home with my own children, all of whom have been home schooled.

My hobbies include; helping John with the Church's home page, writing, sewing, and watching my children, who are great dancers, perform.
