George's condition is not good. Before any kind of further surgery for bypass to take place, he must be stabilized.  I spoke with his son Mark this morning and we all are seeing that unless there is some miraculous healing, the prognosis is not good.

Many people visited with Daloris and her family yesterday (Sunday). Daloris is appreciative of the support and the food that has been brought for their family while they are at the hospital.   Daloris thanks people from all over for sending cards of encouragement and well-wishes.

Please pray earnestly for George and his family.

It's a bit more encouraging this morning after yesterday's report. A new medication has been given to George that has greatly reduced his fluid level. He does not look as swollen as he has.  Also, his respiration has improved.  He was on 100% oxygen. That the oxygen has been reduced to 30-40%.
The biggest concern is the continuation of the infection. George's temperature is 101.5.  Dr. Stone, his surgeon said that survival of surgery is not possible with this temperature, so everything is being done to rid George of the infection. Dr. Stone is still hopeful of the surgery soon.
Bev and I will be going up there in about half an hour to visit with everyone at the hospital. Please continue to pray earnestly for George, Daloris and all their family at this most critical time.

The report this morning is not as good and your continued prayers for George are very much needed.

Mark Williamson called (as he does now every morning at 7:30 AM) and told me that surgery still cannot take place until the mysterious infection is abated. A new medication is being tried this morning.  The whilte blood cell count is "ok" but the infection persists.

Also, the blood pressure is not stabilizing. Dr. Stone came by this morning and said that surgery cannot be done until there is stability in the two areas just discussed and time is running out.

Bev and I visited with Daloris, Mark, George's sister Bonnie yesterday afternoon.  Jane Pacelli has been there quite a bit with the family.  Also Jackie Cook had stopped by and Michelle Grovak came by while we were there.

Please pray earnestly for George and for better news today.

The entire Williamson family thanks all of you for your prayers for George.

You can send well-wishes to the Williamson's at

George's son Mark just called and gave this report:

Once again, the signs appear hopeful. George's white blood count has now entered the normal range. Also, his blood pressure is now being maintained more by his own body rather than through the external means. Mark realized that these are slow and small steps, but they are not regression.  They are progress.

Dr. Stone who will be performing the heart surgery wanted to wait a few more days before doing so. He wants to see more continuous progress.

The entire Williamson family thanks all of you for your prayers for George.      You can send well-wishes to the Williamson's at

Bev and I plan to go up this afternoon to Lafayette to be with the family and will have more to say after that.

Just spoke with Daloris.  She has called the hospital through the night 3-4 times.  She has been given guardedly optimistic information.

George's temperature has gone down and is now 99. Also, his white blood cell count is lower. Now, they are wondering if this was an indeed heart attack or whether the infection just exposed by the real problem which is the extreme blockage. Once the infection has subsided, Dr. Stone, who operated on George when he had his aneurysm eight years ago will perform bypass surgery.

Son Mark and Christie are down from Detroit.  Grandson Jackson is near. Daloris is happy with family around.

Please continue to pray for all the Williamson's!  Daloris thanks everyone and appreciates the request for prayer being spread far and wide.

As Tony Pacelli and Mike Grovak have written, you are aware that George Williamson had what is now called a heart attack Sunday afternoon.  He was taken to Clarion Arnett hospital in Lafayette.

One of his arteries was completely blocked.  The others had severe blockage.  In connection with this there was an infection that they thought was pneumonia.

Bypass surgery was very much needed but not possible until infection was taken care of.  George was put on life support.  We were not able to see with him until almost  9:00 PM.  You have seen the reports earlier by Tony Pacelli and Mike Grovak.

Today I called Daloris and was encouraged by her report.  George's temperature has gone down.  His blood pressure has stabilized.  Our conversation was optimistic.

He has had some consciousness as he's been able to respond by squeezing the nurse's hand.  He has been responsive to instructions such as to lay still and not his knee.

Her son John stayed the night with her.  Son Mark and daugther-in-law Christie are coming down from Michigan today.

Daloris thanks you all for your prayers.  It has been a hard 24 hours....please continue to pray for both George and Daloris.

In Christ's service,

Victor Kubik

From Mike Grovak

I wanted to provide everyone an update on George's condition.  He is quite ill, and your continued prayers are very needed for both him and Daloris.

Michelle and I were with Daloris, their son John, their neighbors Lloyd and Louise, Mr. Kubik and Tony Pacelli at the hospital today.  We left at 9 pm, when John and the neighbors took Daloris home.  We learned that George has some serious coronary blockages, and surgery is indicated once he is stronger.  He has a buildup of fluid in his lungs, which needs to be alleviated before surgery can be considered.

George is in the ICU at Clarian Arnett Hospital.  He's heavily sedated and currently breathing with aid of a respirator.

Regards,

Mike Grovak

Good Evening Brethren:

Please remember George & Daloris Williamson in your prayers tonight. George was rushed to the hospital this afternoon because of having pneumonia in his left lung but he has some major heart problems. The next three days are extremely critical for his life.

Mr. Kubik or Mr. Grovak will send details within the next 24 hours on George’s state of health.

Respectfully,

Tony, Jane & Family
