Felicia Miller
Visit Prayer Page Home UPDATED August 9, 2008 Felicia Miller received many, many emails,
cards and letters and wanted to express her deep gratitude to
everyone who sent them. She has good days and bad days, and now
is feeling the good days are winning. On July 25 she had blood
clots removed from her lung, making breathing easier. On July 28
her oncologist gave her fantastic news that the three spots on
her left lung have shrunk so small they can hardly be seen! She
is sure that these positive reports are due to the help from all
the prayers offered on her behalf. Felicia’s daughter, two sons
and friend, Philip, who introduced her to the church, are always
there for her. Her treatments are at times painful and
depressing, but with all the prayers and her family by her side,
she is finding more and more strength to beat it. She mentioned,
“I may get knocked down for a hour or a day but I get up and go
on again.” Thank you all so much for your prayers and very
encouraging messages. June 20, 2008 From David Smith, elder, St. John’s, NL:
Felicia Miller has a history of cancer dating back to 1989 when she was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. She was given chemotherapy at the time and later was proclaimed cancer free. Two years ago she was diagnosed with cancer of the colon and underwent an operation. Last September she was diagnosed with cancer of the liver and given six months to live. The cancer is now in her lymph and is causing her a lot of back pain. Felicia is a new attendee in St. John’s. She has been anointed, and is requesting prayers for God’s intervention again in her life.
