Leona Walker would like to say a heartfelt thanks to everyone for all the cards and concern and continuing prayers for God’s intervention on her behalf.  Such has been a great source of comfort and strength for her.  She remains positive, dealing with one day at a time, knowing that she’s in God’s hands.

Lowell and Leona Walker are very grateful for all your prayers, cards, calls and visits to the hospital for Leona. Her condition is much more critical than at first thought. She has an aneurism on her abdominal aorta that was discovered about four years ago. The doctors have been monitoring it and it has recently expanded to the critical stage. They consulted with a number of doctors in the Paducah area and then went to Nashville, TN for consultation with a team of doctors there. They can operate on her but the procedure would be extremely risky. Actually two surgeries would be necessary. Leona has decided it isn’t worth the risk and has put her case in God’s hands. Please pray for her day to day.

Leona Walker, wife of Elder Lowell Walker in Paducah KY, has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure.  Also, she has an aneurysm on her abdominal aorta that is of critical size.  Currently, she is in Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah being evaluated as to what to do from here.  Please pray for God's guidance and intervention in this matter.
