I regret to inform you that Carl Dailey, an elder for 14 years in the
Garden Grove congregation, died of a heart attack on June 16. He was
able to visit his children in Chicago and upon arriving back to Southern
California, he had a heart attack coming home from the airport. The
funeral was carried out Monday, June 23, at the Riverside National
Cemetery. He will be greatly missed.

Dear brethren,
It is with a very sad heart that I must inform you of the sudden and unexpected passing away of Carl Dailey Monday night. June 16, 2008. He was driving on I-55 after having arrived at the John Wayne airport from visiting his family in Chicago. He had a heart attack last night around 11:00 pm, and pulled up on the side of the freeway. Efforts to revive him by the paramedics and the hospital staff were to no avail. Carl was 78 years old.
I accompanied Nancy his wife at the hospital most of the night. He will be sorely missed. He was a long-time elder of the Garden Grove Church and an outstanding example of Christian faith and dedication.
He will be buried at the Riverside Memorial Cemetery, but we don't have the date or hour yet, so I'll let you know when we have the information.
