Death of Vola Boaz

It is with GREAT sadness that I must say that Mom, Vola
Boaz, died tonight (September 9)
at 6:25pm. Mr. Vernon Hargrove was in the room with us and
I firmly believe that she must've felt comforted hearing his
voice.
Mom was a faithful and dedicated servant. She will be
SORELY missed by many. No more pain and suffering.
We all thank everyone for their love, cards and prayers.
There will be no viewing or funeral. Her wishes. She has a
plot up in Lansing, Michigan and we hope to take her up
there to be buried.

Mom (Vola Boaz) will be buried in Deepdale Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 13th at noon. Just a family graveside service. This was her request.
Many thanks go out to all who have prayed for and loved
Mom. I am not the least bit surprised by how many lives
she touched.
Appreciate the continued prayers for my brother and his
being able to cope with our loss and his ongoing cancer
struggle. THAT is a little overwhelming.

Vola Boaz was admitted to the hospital
via the ER on Sunday morning. She has a blood clot/clogged
artery in her upper right leg. They're trying to stabilize her
blood and kidneys so her body can tolerate the dye when they do
the balloon procedure.
Mr. Hargrove came up yesterday and anointed her. We would appreciate prayers for a successful outcome. There's a lot on our plates right now between her health and the return of my brother's cancer.
