Visit Prayer Page Home Dr. Abraham Abraham “Doc” of Las
Cruces, NM, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17,
2011. Doc was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Before
attending Temple University, he worked as a master welder at
the Navy shipyards during WWII on the east coast. He married
Beatrice Mae Evans in 1950, who
preceded him in death in 2008. At the age of 43 and
four children later, he graduated from Temple University
with his doctorate in dentistry. Doc was a long time devoted member and Elder of the Church of God. He first attended the Radio/Worldwide Church of God in 1967 in Mt. Pocono, PA and later in Bethlehem, PA. In 1975 he and his family moved to Las Cruces, NM, where he continued his dental practice. He retired from dentistry in 1990 at the age of 82, but stayed very active in other ventures. During the last decade of his career he devoted much of his time in service to senior citizens. His presence was loved and will be missed. Doc is survived by four sons: Nassam Abraham and his wife Dalia of Las Cruces, NM, Brian Abraham and his wife Debbie of Las Cruces, NM, Wakeen (Wayne) Abraham and his wife Jill of Belen, NM, and Mike Abraham and his wife Susan of Rogers, Arkansas. His grandchildren are: Cristina, Brian, Abraham, David, Sherian, Jennifer, Michael and Jordan. His great grand-children are: Kira, Brooklynn, Jaydlynn, Chloe, Damien, Jesse, Brian jr. and Brandon. Dr. Abraham was buried in Hillsboro, New Mexico, next to his wife, Bea Abraham. Cards for the family can be sent to:
