 "The Living Stones began in early 1995 when a group of musically-inclined friends in Indianapolis, Indiana felt the need for a music ministry. By mid-'95 the group was comprised of Tony and Pat Zubrowski, Steve, Denise, and Leah Kramer, Lindy and Cheryl Meyer, Oscar Brown, Christy and Ed Frampton,  and Chris and Katherine Rowland.

Singing a combination of covers of contemporary Christian songs and original music written by Tony Zubrowski (currently hospitalized in Baltimore), the group traveled extensively around Indiana during 1995 and 1996, performing primarily at Worldwide Church of God services. Though many in the group eventually went their ways religiously, they remained good friends. This CD was recorded in the last part of 1996. It includes three original songs: "New Wine" and "The Body of Christ", by Tony Zubrowski, and "Our Family Song" by Tony and Pat Zubrowski. Also included are songs sung by friends of the Living Stones. 

The group's most recent performance was on April 19, 1998, in Lafayette, Indiana, at a benefit concert for the children of Chernobyl. At this concert through donations and CD/cassette sales, the Living Stones raised enough money to purchase $10,000 worth of much needed medicine for handicapped children in Chernobyl.  The concert was performed days before the 12th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. We want to tell them thanks again for this generous act of kindness and charity! Since this concert, the group has been on indefinite hiatus.
