Re: Tartu Boy's Home

Dear Mr. Victor Kubik,

May I ask you to pass my gratitude to the United Church of God of Lafayette, Indiana for the help they have sent to the Shelter of youth delinquents in Tartu. We have built a workshop and the question now is the equipment and the ventilation system. I shall save your donation for those purposes. The workshop will serve the inhabitants of the shelter as well as the street boys who don't attend school and are getting involved in criminal activity. We hope that professional training, making nice things from wood, contact with our social workers etc. will help the boys to keep away from prison.

Also, I want to thank you for the donation to one of our pupils, Albert, age 11. He has been in the shelter for one and a half years. The youth police brought him to us whe he was 10 years old. They found hiim at the railway station in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Now he is nice and clean, learns well and is quite successful in music.

Thanks a lot and God bless you.
