Henrikas Klovas -  UCG Member from Lithuania

Henrikas Klovas is our only member from the Baltic Country of Lithuania. He was born October 27, 1948. His wife's name is Vijole. They have two daughters, Vidmante and Ruta. He has two  grandchildren, grandson Dovydas and a granddaughter Radvile who was born September 2, 1997 and granddaughter Vytene was born November 4, 1998.



He has arrived here in Estonia for the Feast on October 15th after an all-night train ride crossing borders from Lithuania into Latvia and then to Estonia.

He is from Lithuania's second largest city of Kaunas which has a population of 450,000. The capital Vilnius is 100 km away with a slightly larger population of 550,000.

He is an economist working for the government of Lithuania in the areas of architecture and construction.

He came in contact with the Plain Truth when he was sent to Austria for a chess tournament, when Lithuenia was part of the Soviet Union. He saw the Plain Truth on a newsstand, took it home and started subscribing to it in 1990. He came up to Estonia to meet John Karlson, the German UCG regional director. John Karlson along with his Lithuanian wife also visited Henrikas in his home in Kaunas. He attended his first Feast of Tabernacles in Germany in 1993 where he was also baptized by Matt Fenchel.

In the past year he has migrated to the United Church of God. He has translated four Good News articles from Russian to Lithuanian.
